The sweet TV spot doesn’t focus on the stars of the films, so you only see a brief clip from the film itself. Instead, it sees a Jurassic fan daydreaming about caring for a raptor, treating it like a puppy. At least, that’s the case until he realizes that the dinosaur’s mother won’t like him being a surrogate and will eat him at the first opportunity.
Jeep says that its campaign will run worldwide, with US-specific marketing including a 30-second TV spot and various social media posts including the above clip, and an extended version of the aforementioned TV spot. Behind-the-scenes footage showing the making of the commercial will also be shared, and there will be “experiential events where members of the Jeep Wave community will be able to register to see the new film in select cities across the US.”
