Comparing a wide selection of Jeep rock rails

 Let’s start with a unique design, the Ultra Series from Crawler Conceptz looks to have a hybrid type of mounting, connecting to both a rocker panel mounted skin and to the body mounts.

Metalcloak offers three different series of body armor; Overline, Overland, and Hardline. Each has it’s own rock rail design, two of which feature a very clever design that provides two different mounting directions. One direction provides high clearance, the other provides a more convenient step height. All of them are only available in steel.

When I think of Fab Four I think of a cross between Transformers and Mad Max seasoned with a coating of road rage however their Rock Rails would look at home on any Jeep. I believe this is a fully welded-box design which will keep contaminates outside of the rail, whereas all the other designs have openings that will fill with dirt and salt. These are available in 3/16″ steel only, with or without powder coat.
